CHARACTER

Midori tea is generally rich and smooth in flavor, with little bitterness. Its aroma is fresh, grassy, and floral. Kabusecha (かぶせ茶) means ‘shaded’ or ‘covered tea,’ and it is positioned between sencha and gyokuro teas in terms of shading duration and character. Its taste is determined by the method and duration of shading. Sometimes the shrubs are covered for just a few days, or even up to two weeks, and tea farmers experiment extensively with different shading techniques and materials.

A soft, creamy, and sweetly floral kabusecha. The infusion is bright green and opalescent, indicating its freshness and excellent quality. This kabusecha is easy to drink and particularly sweet.

Organic – bio-grown tea. Offered in its original 50-gram package.
