CHARACTER
A special organic loose leaf white tea from this year’s harvest. The first few infusions have a fresher, “green tea” character. The sweeter, muscatel, honey aromas come to the fore after the third or fourth infusion. A very enjoyable mood enhancer with a floral, muscatel aroma. You can feel sensational flavours in your mouth.
Moonlight White (Yue Guang Bai) is the white tea produced in Yunnan. The reason why it is named as moonlight white is that the upper part of the leaf is silver white, while the down part of the leaf is dark. Tea leaves look like shined by moonlight, upper part is shining like silver, down part is black.
DOSAGE & BREWING GUIDELINE
A) Traditional way in a gaiwan/clay teapot: 3-5 grams + 150 ml water. According to the Gongfucha, it can be boiled several times at 85°C, with 2 minutes infusions.
B) Modern brewing in a jug: 3-5 grams + 300-500 ml water. It can be infused with 85 C° water 2-3 times after 2-3 minutes of brewing.
