CHARACTER

This delightful Taiwanese oolong tea, developed in 1981, captures the essence of spring with its beautiful floral aroma. It’s no wonder it’s a favorite among Taiwanese tea drinkers – it’s both delicious and affordable!

Its thick-leaved, resistant shrubs (Taicha No13 CuiYu) are grown in the tea gardens of Mingjian, Nantou County, below 1000m. Despite multiple harvests throughout the year, the leaf quality remains consistently high. The taste of its brew is full-bodied and sweet, while its aroma is compared to certain plants, such as: Pink Kisses, Gardenia and Osmanthus flowers.

DOSAGE & BREWING GUIDELINE

A) Traditional way in a gaiwan/clay teapot: 3-5 grams + 150-200 ml water. According to the Gongfucha, brew several times at 80-85°C, for 1-2 minutes. / 8 inf.

B) Western brewing: 3-5 grams + 300-500 ml water.  Infuse with 80-90 C° water 2-3 times, for  2 minutes. / 3 inf.
