A pleasant and very handy teapot with a pine motif. The pine tree is a symbol of endurance, resilience and strength of the human spirit in Asian culture. The pot is a thin layer of black clay glazed clay casting with hand engraving and calligraphy. Although it is not a unique, handmade piece the design, sizing and fitting is perfectly precise and accurate.  The lid fits nicely, the filter sizing allows a quick, even pouring. This pot is rather a practical piece than a work of art, and is recommended for novice tea drinkers who are getting to know their first special loose leaf teas.
