CHARACTER
Forest white tea with leaves oxidised to quite red. It is characterised by dense, deep, honeyed, fruity flavours and a bright, golden-oily infusion. This is a very good quality, organic Moonlight White Tea with a lot of silver tips. Delicate, smooth, not too strong, relaxing tea.
Moonlight White (Yue Guang Bai) is the white tea produced in Yunnan. The reason why it is named as moonlight white is that the upper part of the leaf is silver white, while the down part of the leaf is dark. Tea leaves look like shined by moonlight, upper part is shining like silver, down part is black.
