Description
ORIGIN & HARVEST TIME
Yunnan, China, Lincang, Baodaoshan, Mengku region, 2004
CHARACTER
Old Sheng from the rocky hills of Lincang Prefecture, Zhenkang County, from tea gardens at an altitude of about 1600 m. High quality brick with a nice texture and a natural proportion of buds and leaves. Sweet, mellow, fruity sheng puerh, less earthy due to the tight pressing, leaving a more acidic, forest mushroom aftertaste. Its clean, vermouth-coloured infusions have a soft and sweet smell with lychee aromas and a very slightly earthy flavour. A moderately strong sheng for a relaxing afternoon tea session.
