STYLE

Mixture of Shino style and mocai (black ink decoration) glaze with iron dots and cracks. A beautiful, unique handmade teacup from Yang Qing Qing Lao Shi, Taiwan. The thick glaze on the heavy clay body ends above the base. This gives a nice outline to the bottom of the cup. A classical style bamboo hat shape. The outer surface has a black ink pattern glaze, while the inner surface has rusted wire patterns in a white glaze that depict flying birds.
