Yixing teapot for 4 people – sized for a group of friends or a family – with a seal script idiom. Si Fang, a square shape teapot, features a four-character seal script idiom on one side. On the opposite side, a delicate bamboo engraving adds a touch of elegance. The idiom “DaZhanHongTu” inspires with its message: “uncover your hidden talents and embrace the success that flows from them.” The teapot’s weighty body and flawlessly fitting lid exude a sense of strength and prestige, making it a powerful symbol of determination and accomplishment.

We have been in contact with the Xu family for a long time. Almost every family member lives and works near the Dragon Kiln in Dingshu village, Yixing city. Their teapots are in the old style and are completely handmade. The shapes often feature classic teapot forms with literary or pictorial connotations.

Qing Hui Ni teapots typically have a smooth, slightly grainy texture and a muted, earthy color that can range from light gray to darker green-gray tones, depending on the specific firing techniques and the presence of other minerals. The finished teapots are often highly prized for their unique, natural appearance and the way they develop a lustrous finish with use.
