Wuliangshan means “Boundless Mountain Range.” This region, with its peaks ranging from 1,000 to 3,300 meters, is one of the largest and most diverse tea-growing areas, located in the northern tip of Pu’er/Simao Prefecture, within a subtropical climate zone. The area is home to vast wild tea tree groves and semi-wild gardens. Wuliang Mountain teas are generally sweet, with notes of orange liqueur and peach, featuring a mild bitterness and naturally sweet, fruity aromas that are more soft and subtle rather than bold and explosive.
