CHARACTER

Stony, mineral and floral character tea with a sweet-bitter gushu sheng puerh taste. A delicate, long-lasting, and captivating tea, with light tartness blended with seed-like, nutty flavors. Its depth and complexity are what truly make it valuable.

Near Menghai, in the Bulang Mountain region, lies Banzhang Mountain, at an elevation of around 1,800 meters. In the Dai language, the word “Banzhang” means “a place intoxicating with the sweet fragrance of osmanthus flowers.” Banzhang Mountain teas are renowned for their strength and rich, full-bodied brews, which place them among the most valuable and best-aging teas in the world. The strong body sensation can be felt as a pleasant tingling and a warmth spreading through the limbs.

DOSAGE & BREWING GUIDELINE

According to the traditional Gongfucha tea ceremony, use 8g of tea for 1,5-2 dl of water (85-90°C), and infuse 10-12 times for 30 seconds.
