Description

ORIGIN & HARVEST TIME

China, Yunnan, Lincang, Manglu Shan, Xigui village

CHARACTER

The Xi Gui tea-growing area is located in the Bangdong region of Lincang Prefecture, along the banks of the Mekong River. Thanks to its unique microclimate and extremely good soil conditions, wonderfully fine tea is made from the leaves of the tea trees here. Xi Gui is considered the Banzhang of Lincang because similarly strong, full-bodied, and richly aromatic puer teas originate from this region, which are much more substantial than teas from other villages.

With a greenish-yellow color, lively and clear infusion, this tea is highly aromatic, fruitily tangy with a fully sweet, softly woody, and extremely rich taste. The tea broth is highly concentrated, dense, with a strong tea scent, yet smooth in texture. Freshly tasting it is also a magical experience, and it ages well.
