9.2028.00

Naturally sweet, lightly sandalwood-scented red tea with a thick, silky infusion.

Description

ORIGIN & HARVEST TIME

China, Yunnan, Simao, 2024

CHARACTER

The highest grade Yunnan Golden Bud tea, produced by oxidizing and hand-rolling whole buds. Its highly aromatic, rich infusion features dominant honey, cocoa, and toasted notes, with hints of citrus emerging in the aftertaste. A bold, full-bodied tea with a warm, sunny character. With subsequent infusions, the flavor becomes increasingly bitter, more tobacco-like, and maltier, creating a beautiful contrast in the brew.

Its dense liquor is dominated by honey and cocoa aromas, while strong oxidation and gentle roasting create a perfect balance between bitterness and sweetness. Even with a long steeping time, it does not become tannic but rather grows thicker and more intense.
