CHARACTER
A beautiful half-kilo disc from the Haiwan tea factory founded in 1999, pressed exclusively from leaves picked from the forest. The disc has a very loose texture, in keeping with the pressing style of large tea factories, making it easy to break the disc into leaves. Shorter infusions with hot water result in a refreshing fruity character. At lower water temperatures, deeper and sweeter flavours appear. In both cases, a slight smokiness is noticeable, quickly followed by the fruity aftertaste mentioned above.
DOSAGE & BREWING GUIDELINE
A) According to the Gongfu rituals, it can be boiled several times after a “hot bath” at 85 – 90 C°, with 30-60 second infusions.
