CHARACTER

A light, sweet, sandalwood fragrance, full of fruits aroma sheng puer for everyday enjoyment. It’s blackberry and wild apple taste provides good mood for you. A very long, sweet, fruity aftertaste and a pleasant breath  makes you work hard and cheerfully, and you want to keep drinking it. This type of sheng puer tend to be great favourite, as the low tea strength creates a balanced freshness, while the exciting aroma keeps you entertained even while performing repetitive tasks. The brew is beautiful, golden colour, fragrant and sweet ☼ This is a Gushu (old tree tea) from the mountain forest.

Da Xue Shan Region

The Great Snow Mountain is a large high mountain area near Mengku village, with excellent conditions and intense, very convincing teas. Their light, floral, tuberose aroma is relatively well recognized. In the tea hills there are gardens of older trees, with 600-800-year-old plants. The local varieties tolerate the altitude well (2200-3200m), and also the big temperature difference between mornings and nights. As an orthodox high mountain tea, the leaves grow big, soft, and dark green, giving the maocha a pine green appearance with silvery buds. Da Xue Shan teas are rich in aromas, sweetish, floral taste with sandalwood fragrance. The floral sweetness with a good tannic acid base is often associated with citrus and grapefruit flavors and followed by a long aftertaste.

DOSAGE & BREWING GUIDELINE

A) According to the traditional gongfucha tea ceremony, after a “hot bath”, brew it several times at 90-95°C, with 2 minutes infusions.

B) In a jug, 1 heap of tea (3-5 grams) per 3 dl 90-95 C° water can be infused several times, with a longer steep of 1-2 minutes.
